In line with Westmere School policy, our expectations regarding homework are:

Homework Projects

Children choose to do a homework task from a selection of hands-on projects, usually topic based, which support and enrich classroom learning. Some children put huge amounts of time and energy into these projects, others don’t have the time/opportunity. We are very aware that homework can be difficult to fit into busy schedules and that children need time to relax and play after a busy day at school. As long as you are satisfied with the amount of work your child does, we will not expect any more from them regarding these projects. Please sign and comment in the box provided at the bottom of your child’s homework project booklet.
When One/two times a term. Children are given 2-3 weeks to complete the task.

Dropbox

Dropbox is a great way to hand in electronic projects. You upload it to Dropbox and then share it with your child's classroom teacher via their email address. It's quick and easy. No need to burn to disk or memory stick anymore and larger files are not always be accepted by our email server.
